Boba Fett
Boba Fett was originally known as Jaster Mereel. Jaster Mereel was
a Journeyman Protector on the world Concord Down. He killed another
Journeyman, and although the other had been corrupt, Mereel was thrown
in jail. He refused to say that he had been wrong to do that, so all
his possesions were confiscated and he was thrown off the planet. No
one knows what happened next, but there are several rumors, all or any
of which may be true. One is that he became an Imperial stormtrooper
during this time. It is said that he fled after killing a superior
officer. He seems to have problems with killing fellow troopers!
Another is that Boba Fett was originally female. Somehow Boba Fett (the
girl) died and Jaster Mereel came in possesion of her Mandalorian
armor, which he adopted for himself. The Mandalorian armor was first worn by the Mandalorian warriors, a group of evil fighters probably led by the Dark Lords of the Sith. The Mandalorian warriors were defeated by the
Jedi knights during the Clone Wars, and their armor became more and
more rare afterwards. Boba Fett extensively modified the armor, adding
a macrobinocular viewplate, motion and sound sensors, infrared
capabilities, an internal comlink to his ship, and a broadband
antenna to the helmet. He uses the antenna to intercept and decode
transmissions. He has lasers, a miniature flame projector, and a
fibercord whip/grappling device on wrist gaunlets. His backpack jet has
a magnetic grappling cord with a range of twenty meters. Boba Fett has
kneepad rocket dart launchers, a concussion grenade launcher, and a
Blas-Tech EE-3 rifle. And we should never forget his famous braid of
Wookie scalps! Boba Fett works for anyone, doing anything, as long as
they have enough credits to satisfy him. He has been a soldier,
mercenary, assassin, and most often, a bounty hunter. His ability to
always haul in the merchandise put forth before him lets him charge
astronomical prices. Boba Fett has obviously earned his right to be known as the best bounty hunter in the galaxy tenfold.
